December Daily-Day 9

Tuesday was Christmas at the OK Corral. Hopefully that explains the bandanna. Summer had to go up and speak her line into the microphone. If I had any idea how to do it, I would upload some of the video here. But all our video stays on the little tape:) Summer's line was,"Win or lose, rich or poor, so many good things we have in store." She was 1 of five 2nd graders to speak. Most of the program was the 5th grade, with 1st and second graders singing. You can tell Summer really likes to sing! My seat was awful. She was right in front of me, but she was on the bottom riser so I couldn't see her and other parents were in my shots.

Grady was the best clapper in the gym.

Bob and Joan made it out in the horrible weather(crazy, wonderful) and got there in time to calm the littles down. Grady was ready to go up on stage, I think.

Funny little songs about "Bubble Gum Bart" who was going to ruin Christmas. Very cute and unique.

This is what I get for being anti-flash. She's so cute.

The principal. He's really great with the kids. Very involved. Always out on the playground in the mornings. Knows ALL the kids and who they belong to. Even eats lunch with them everyday. My elementary principal never left his office.

All I want for Christmas;)

If this look is not pure michief, I dont know what is!

Someday, they will all sit nicely together, I will get a good shot and have it blown up BIG for my wall. Until then, this is what I get!
Summer, you did a great job. It is so fun watching you grow and thrive. You said your part so beautifully and you make Dad and I very very proud. Love you.

great pictures Mom! Great job Summer! It's so bittersweet to see how much our children grow. Maybe you should have let Grady go up on stage, you may have won 10 grand on America's Funniest Home Videos!!

I've been checking for these on and off all day. You never get the good spot at school plays, you know? The thought that the seat you think will rock usually blows up in your face. been there.

How adorable!! Someday...and sooner than I think...I too will be sitting at school watching my boys in plays. She looks like she really enjoyed herself and had a blast!!
I have to admit...I got teary eyed reading your last comment to Summer. Something about parents actually putting in writing how proud they are of their kids gets me choked up!!

Great post!!
