I have to admit that I have gone through a "thing" this week. Its been difficult but I have come out the other side proud of myself as a mother. I have stood up for my children and made a sacrifice unlike any I have had to before. I hurt for my loss. It didn't have to be this way, but I am moving on. I know all to well how short life is. We had the Open House at Summers school. Teagen is trying out Summers desk. It was so cute how Summer showed Teagen around and introduce her to her teacher, Mrs. Berry.
Afterwards, Jason and I decided to get in just one more beach day. Actually I was hoping to get a good group shot for Christmas cards this year. That would have been fine if Grady was not part of our family equation. He kept getting up and walking away. Oh well, he's worth it;)
OK, this one is not bad, just not what I had in mind.
September is flying by, Isn't it? I've got a lot I want to do before winters here. Gotta get crackin' on that list. And I basically will barely see Jason for the month of October(hunting) so I am getting him on all the projects around here before he goes all "Fred Bear". But I have to say that this year, we made a deal. Every week(except the one he is in the UP) I get to "escape" and go out on my own for a night. Doesn't sound like a lot, but you would be surprised at how many weeks go by where this does not happen! Plus, I don't have to get a job, so of course that's nice too!

Love the pictures! Very, Very, cute!! Looks like they turned out great! I know what you mean about september flying by. Pretty soon, I will be one of those crazy people shopping the day after thanksgiving....Well, Maybe...I may not be that crazy this year!!
I hope everything turned out ok for you. ALWAYS know that you are terrific mom. I am not sure what you stood up for, but way to go mom!!! If you can not stand up for your children, who will?
Beautiful pictures (and family!) as always. Thanks for sharing!!!
Hey, hope you are doing okay with your "thing". Good for you for knowing whatever it is IS a big deal and you being proud of yourself as a mother is HUGE, in spite of the hurt. Moms are always too hard on themselves so you being able to recognize the good you did is fabulous!!
Okay, so I just wrote a really long comment about your "thing" but I erased it (it was way to long!) So basically it said that You are a great Mom, a great sister, and a great friend. You had to make a tough decision, and I am sure that any of the moms that read your blog would have made the same choice. The kids always win. Without Mom here, you are my role model and ever since Summer was born I realized I was going to have a great person in my life to get advice and help from when it came to my own kids. And there is no doubt in my mind I would have done the same thing you did. So don't fret...life goes on and remember you have some great friends and family to lean on when you need it! (yes the comment that I erased WAS longer!)
By the way, the beach pics are great. I would love to get the cousins together for a big photo shoot.
Jenn your pictures of the kiddo's are just beautiful. I love them all. Makes me want to go back to the beach. You are such a great photographer.
I love the pics Jenn! they turned out Great! Have no doubt that you made the right decision.

Jen! Every mother goes through "things" they are NEVER easy, but we make it through, wether it be a bully or or just a rotten neighbor kid, we make it through and they make it through too! And like Kristin said, if we don't stick up for our kids, who will? Love the pics!!! you have gorgeous children!
Hey Jen, sorry to hear about your "thing" when you choose your kids you can never go wrong. Good luck with everything, and your kids are very lucky to have a Mom like you...
