These are from last Friday. I promised the out-of-towners some snow pics from here. And actually it snowed all day Saturday too, so there is even more than this! Summer went sledding Saturday with Kelly,Greg and Leighton. Apparently Teagen was not too impressed with the whole sledding thing when Jason took them last week. So she stayed with Daddy and I spent the whole weekend at the salon and at a meeting Sunday morning in Spring Lake. For only working 12 hours a week, this place sure likes to suck up my life! But really, I have not worked a weekend since before Thanksgiving...I have little to complain about considering I am not willing to work a "Real Job" until the kids are a bit older.A moment I want to remember:
Saturday evening Jason went to do the grocery shopping after the kids went to bed and Summer comes out, just not tired yet. We start surfing the channels and find the Miss America Pageant on TLC. We were so excited to see our Miss Michigan win! As Miss MI is crowned and is handed her flowers all the while crying Summer says with tears in her eyes,"Mom, that is just how I felt last week when I got my t-shirt at the school assembly! I was so proud and I had tears of Joy!" She had be recognized as one of the students earning enough points in "Respect, Responsibility, and Safety", the schools motto this year. So that's a big WAHOO for Bluffton for making my little girl feel like Miss America!

This entry right here proves what a great mom that you are. First, you are spending quality time together. Second, you are raising a confident girl...who actually talks to her mom. Third, you actually listened to what she had to say and said good job to her school. What a fabulous mom you are. ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT!!!!
What a sweet & adorable story!! It's easy to forget that sometimes just the littlest things mean the world to our kids. The pics you posted of her coming down the sidewalk are so cute. She looks like such a happy-go lucking little girl. What a beautiful family you have!!
